This is one of my favorite pieces. Spirit of Wood and Stone. I created it entirely in Photoshop. I lost the original in a computer bust, so this is a scan of the only print. I happened to be playing with maybe selling some ACEOs sizes at the time and printed my Spirit of Wood and Stone. So glad that it printed well and that I kept it. I'm working on a series that follows the theme. The spirit is very elfish and I like that.

I can't say how many pages I've started...like everybody like in computerland. I've a facebook, myspace, google blogger, etc... But I've started this account to post my art. Now I say that with tongue jammed in cheek because I'm nothing more than a wantabe artist. As my husband says, "Anybody with a Wacom tablet and an internet connection thinks that they're an artist." Slice.
Well, I've been playing with my Wacom tablet for a long time now. I sketch designs the old fashioned way and scan them into photoshop. Then I finish them. Sometimes I start in Photoshop. What I don't do is use digitial art short cuts to make forms or whatever. Not because I have any opinions about that being bad, but because I'm working on my drawing and painting skills. To do that, I'm only using those kinds of tools and filters in photoshop. So all this being said. This is a place for me to share my art. I want to share it because creating it and leaving it in the computer alone is cruel. Maybe you'll think it's cruel of me to share. But whatever. You choose to come here and look. Give feedback. I won't be too vindictive about criticism. Below is a sketch that I scanned into photoshop and jacked with unitl I created my Diva 3.
